There is nothing at all remarkable about the Saturn L-Series from a filmmaking standpoint.
Introduced in 2000 and canceled in 2005 this model of the car only lasted half a decade before the manufacturer had second thoughts. Assembled in Wilmington Delaware the car came as both a four-door sedan and a five-door station wagon. The car had poor side impact, untested roof strength and was acceptable or untested in other areas.
The Saturn L-series has maintained a life in the film industry wholly because it is unremarkable. This car has the kind of generic quality that allows it to both blends into the background and set a character up as average and unremarkable if they are driving it. This car appeared in a season three episode of CSI and a season 8 episode of Bones. The Saturn L-Series has also appeared in at least thirty-one other productions that I can find.
