The Mercedes-Benz GLK is a compact luxury crossover SUV produced between 2008 and 2015. The car has a front engine and rear-wheel drive/all-wheel drive. It typically has a V6 engine and sports a seven-speed automatic transmission.  The Mercedes-Benz GLK has a rear-seat entertainment system, climate control, and agility control suspension.

In film and television, the Mercedes-Benz GLK has become a common sight, especially on police procedural styled shows. It has appeared in a season three episode of The Following, a season seven episode of Criminal Minds and in the film Sharknado. It has also appeared in the made for TV film A Princess for Christmas and was driven by a main character in a season two episode of Cougar Town. It also appeared in the 2008 film Sex and the City, and in the 2012 movie Safe. It’s also in the Chinese-Korean film Sophie’s Revenge, depicted as a symbol of success.
